Co-working and the Creative City
I recently had a great discussion at a Likemind gathering last week on bringing co-working to Detroit. (Actually to Royal Oak but I'm still pushing for Detroit since it's closer to me.)
I think it's a great idea, especially for freelancers. I can't tell you how often I'm doing work at home or in a cafe and could use someone to bounce an idea off of or just get a break from whatever project I'm working on and see what else is going on in the world.
Does anyone else feel that there's a need for more co-working space throughout Michigan?

Love that idea! Amanda, can you post some sites where we can read more about how this is being done in other cities?
