Seems that a do-able thing right now is to restore the commuter train that used to go from Pontiac and right on down to entrance to Ren Cen. With the right negotiations, it could be a super pump primer in terms of the broader, long-range transit plan and it could be a great help to getting more suburban
people to use the facilities of the DMC, get to Eastern Market and of course do a good job of bringing more people down to the riverfront and to RenCen. A shuttle bus could easily be
put in place from the rail line to take people from train stop-off points over to DMC and to the Cultural center.
